The packaging for The Criterion Collection is often viewed as its own piece of art -- in addition to the films the package contains. As such, several graphic artists have had their fun all over the web showing off how they would illustrate movies they feel should be represented by Criterion, films that should never see the light of day and redesigns of real Criterion releases.
