The Criterion Collection

The Criterion Collection: Or what distracts me from my goals
In addition to the AFI and IMDB lists, I'm also trying to tackle the Criterion Collection of films. Criterion is a company that remasters films with the best technology available and then re-releases the films as high-quality as is possible. Currently, there are more than 550 films -- all cataloged on the spine of the packaging -- that have been reissued by Criterion.

While some bloggers have attacked the films in the Criterion list one movie at a time in numerical order, I have preferred to skip around the list -- first, watching the movies that have been recommended to me or with synopses that sound interesting and interest me and then going back and watching the rest.

Criterion is one of many predominant reasons as to why I have been so slow at finishing up the AFI and IMDB lists. Check back for updates, reviews or other stuff I post.
